Experiences and Advice of Ingeborg Stadelmann
"Many families find it hard to imagine flu season without aromatherapy oils and baths. Often, no other medication is needed if they take a bath immediately when the flu approaches. Therefore, it is advisable to keep the Thyme-Myrtle Bath ready, as a flu wave can strike at any time.
In half doses, the Stadelmann Thyme-Myrtle Bath can also be used by pregnant women and young children. Always pay attention to what your unborn child ‘communicates’ during the bath and about two hours afterward — whether they behave calmly or are very restless. As an expectant mother, remember that your well-being is also reflected in your child’s condition. Not only during pregnancy, but also throughout the child’s first three years, you are your child’s conduit, and an intensive mother-child connection is the best protection against any harmful effects.
The advantage of the bath is that it allows time to address the approaching illness. Reflect in the bathtub on what or who is taking your breath away, what is constricting your throat. You may realize that it is necessary to cleanse the respiratory tract once or twice a year, especially due to the ever-increasing air pollution. If you cannot regularly use a sauna to combat toxins, this treatment is definitely recommended."

"The intensely herbal-scented salt bath should be used sparingly! It frees the respiratory tract, soothes the bronchi, and has a mild fever-reducing effect. By adding 2 drops of pure lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) or benzoe essential oil, the bath takes on a softer scent and also calms the mind. For high blood pressure, it is advisable to mix about 5 drops of marjoram oil into the bath salt; for unstable circulation and weakness, 3 drops of rosemary oil can be added per bath. If you want a bath that warms body and soul, add 1 drop of cinnamon oil to a full Stadelmann Thyme-Myrtle Bath, or mix 5 drops of ginger oil into the Stadelmann Thyme-Myrtle Bath per application."
